A day before our vacation, I thought it would be nice to have a suitcase for our toddler. Then I found this little gem, allowing kids to sit and even better - ride on it. Shipped overnight. (Thank you to the seller!!!) The box had another label with somebody else's name, whoever probably returned it. However, this Trunki looked unused, so I just washed it.My kid loved it. It was easy to teach how to pull it. She'd also sit on while waiting in airport lines, ask me to pull her when we changed the gates. And it would be fairly easy to do, even though I had a suitcase and a backpack. A ton of compliments and attention helped during our super long trip. The best 100 bucks I spent on 'unnecessary' kids items. The item shipped in a timely manner and arrived exactly as advertised. Our kids are excited to pack their suitcases and ride them around the airport. The suitcases look sturdy and I think they are the right size for our 4-yo twin boys. I worried that they would get tired of dragging it around and I would have to lug it around but the pull strap doubles as an over the shoulder strap. We bought two and expect that it will help keep them occupied during our layover.Excelente tal y como esperaba ?I bought these as we had several air travel trips that we would be taking the kids on - one of the trips, I traveled without my husband. My 2 youngest are 6 & 7 year olds with special needs. One has severe ADHD and the other is autistic. Both can be a handful and I was looking for something to make traveling through airports easier. This was a brilliant solution and worked great. I would recommend Trunkis to anyone who ever need to travel in airports with younger children.I did swap out the strap that came with the suitcase with a 3' leash and a carabiner clasp. This made for easier towing as you have a wrist strrap and the kids could easily choose how they wanted to arrange the strap. Plus, the leash added to the whole "I'm walking a pet" feel while we were going through the airport. The kids were happy to scoot, push, pull and sometimes just drag the suitcases and they held up fine. My daughter in particular is hard on toys and even she was not able to damage the suitcase. In between flights, we would find an empty gate or hallway and the kids would zip up and down the area on the Trunkis, which helped alot when we got on the plane as their energy had been burned off. We did not have a single utterance of "Can you carry my bag for me?" during any of the trips. This was particularly helpful when I was traveling with them alone and did not have spare hands to carry anything extra. If you are interested in buying this product, keep in mind that it has a very specific purpose and that is for traveling through airports or other walk alot type travel. You will probably be disappointed if you just get it for car trips and other low physical movement travel. But it worked great for us in the airports. We bought this for a recent trip to Washington that would involve two flights there and two flights back. Read lots of reviews, watched videos, and decided to pull the trigger on one right before we left. I had this vision of my toddler happily riding this through the airport instead of me carrying him around everywhere. Upon opening the box and inspecting the unit, I wasn't super impressed with the quality for how much these things cost ($50+). Nothing in particular was broken or failing to work, but the unit in its entirety feels cheaply made. My 2.5 year old is pretty small for his age, and he seemed on the verge of being too big to ride this suitcase. The unit was smaller than I expected, so when my toddler sits on it, it just looks a bit awkward. Another issue we encountered was there is nothing to hold onto while riding except the black "horns" protruding from the front. For some reason I though he would be holding onto the black straps on the top but it turned out that isn't realistic, as they actually sit on those straps. Unfortunately having to hold onto the horns causes the toddler to awkwardly lean and hunch forward to be able to ride. I believe this in part is one of the main reasons he lost interest in riding it so quickly once we arrived at the airport. Another quirk is the front wheels don't pivot, so to turn you have to yank on the tow strap left or right constantly to get it to change direction. A bit tricky on tile, but quite awkward on carpet. Between the quirky steering, small size, and awkward riding position, my toddler quickly lost interest. At the airport in Washington, we spotted another dad holding a toddler in his arms and pulling a riderless Trunki. My wife and I glanced at each other and gave that "look" to one another as we also carried our toddler pulling our riderless Trunki behind us struggling to get it to follow due to the non swiveling front wheels. Maybe I was expecting to much, but in the end it just didn't seem practical for the price. My daughter was over the moon and loved her trunki. It is very roomy and sturdy and secure. She found it difficult to ride and almost impossible to steer even when we pulled her it kept going off in all directions and in a crowded airport it’s not ideal. We also had to pay an additional baggage charge as the size of the trunki means that under the new hand luggage sizing regulations it’s too big to fit.Awesome little case. My little one has me dragging him around the airport like Lord Fontleroy - the lazy little git! Gets loads of envious looks from parents when their kids spot it and start squawking on about how they want one. Long and short - get one. You'll look like you give a monkey's about the kids and can drag them around airports to your hearts content!Average, ok my daughter loves it, I don’t. It doesn’t steer and towing through busy airport is just more trouble than it’s worth. It really is just a pretty seat. The main positive is that she is now more actively involved in the selection and packing of kit to go. Further on return leg I noticed the seems starting to separate slightly they still have not failed yet. Used it so unless it fails I will not return, however in hindsight I wouldn’t buy. This is the second trunkie we have bought for our youngest having loved a gruffalo one that my 4 year old still uses. There is plenty of space inside to pack all the essentials and clothes for your child. The case itself is very sturdy the clips are good quality and I like that you can twist to lock the clips to close the case so adds a little extra security. The design is great and my youngest loves to sit on it and ride along on it and also pushes it. Pretty much an all round great childs case. This was the second trunkie that i have purchased. The first one a few years ago for a grandchild, and this one was for his 2 year old brother. They have enjoyed riding around on them and love filling them with bits and bobs. I only gave 3 stars for sturdiness, because the clip on the long strap broke within 24 hours, but the actual trunkie itself is very durable.
